Zixia Browser
Terms of Use
These Terms govern your installation and use of Zixia Browser. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Mandatory consumer rights in your country or region remain unaffected.
1. The service
Zixia Browser provides web browsing, downloading, local reading, scripts, ad blocking, AI, translation, speech and related tools. Some features are optional, experimental, supplied by third parties or dependent on network and system services. Features may change or be discontinued.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control for lawful purposes. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licences. No ownership rights are transferred.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your device, downloaded files, backups, API keys, accounts and activity. You must not use the app to violate law, infringe intellectual property or privacy, distribute malware, bypass security, attack services, or harm others. Do not remove ownership notices or redistribute a modified build as an official Zixia release.
4. Websites and third-party services
The app accesses websites and services at your direction. We do not publish, endorse or control third-party content, advertisements, products, accounts, payments or downloads. Review their terms and make your own assessment before submitting information, purchasing, downloading or installing. Optional AI, translation, speech, login, sharing and read-later providers are governed by their terms.
5. Downloads, installation and permissions
Files and applications obtained from the internet may be unsafe or unlawful. You are responsible for checking source, permissions and rights before opening or installing them. Camera, microphone, location, storage and other permissions remain under Android controls. Wi-Fi transfer should be used only on trusted networks and stopped after use.
6. Your content and local data
You retain rights in content you own. The app does not obtain ownership of your bookmarks, files, notes, prompts or reading data. You authorize transmission only as needed for actions you initiate. Local data can be lost through deletion, device failure, operating-system changes or malware, so keep appropriate backups.
7. Intellectual property
Zixia names, original interface elements, graphics and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party websites and content belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted under an applicable open-source licence.
8. Availability and disclaimers
The app is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every website or device, accuracy of third-party or AI output, or safety of every download. Nothing excludes warranties, remedies or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by third-party content, user configuration, unsafe downloads, loss of local data or services outside our control. This limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that law does not allow us to limit.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. Access to an online resource we operate may be restricted when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect security or comply with law. Provisions that by nature should continue after termination remain effective.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect feature, security or legal changes. The version and effective date will be published here. Material changes will be reasonably notified. If you do not accept an update, stop using the affected service.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections available where you live. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith; otherwise it may be brought before a court or dispute-resolution body with lawful jurisdiction.
